Get your Teen off their screen and out on the water these holidays with our Teen Discover Keelboat Camps!
Aimed at new sailors, the OutThere Keelboat camps have been designed for 12 – 18 year olds with a focus on having fun on the water with friends. These four day camps are run every school holiday and will provide your sailor with the skills both to crew and skipper on our fleet of Elliott 7s keelboats. Our program provides fun challenges for sailors that will further develop their sailing skills.
Sailors who have completed the OutThere Sailing program, or active teen dinghy and keelboat sailors looking to take their sailing to the next level, can progress to our Squadron Keelboat Program.
All our Discover Keelboat Camps are open to both Members and non-members aged 12 – 18 years old.

Holiday Camps
The OutThere Teen camps are designed for sailors to participate in the camps several times. These camps tailor the content to sailors’ individual needs and interests to ensure that they are always learning and keep having fun. Sailors are encouraged to invite their friends to participate in the camps, even if they have different experience levels. Our coaches are able to organise teams to match friend groups and ensure they have an unforgettable holiday experience.

Squadron Pacer Program
RSYS Sailing Academy’s newest program, Pacers, provides sailors the opportunity to sail in a double-handed (two people) boat with a symmetrical spinnaker. This squad is ideal for sailors who prefer a team environment and those interested in teams racing. Sailors train up to twice a week with regular racing in the the Club Dinghy Series.
Squadron Keelboat Program (Junior Squad)
Squadron Keelboat Program (Junior Squad)
The SKP is a selective high-performance training program for sailors aged 13 – 23 years old who are interested in competing in keelboats up to an international level. The Junior Squad (13 – 18 yrs) is the first step for sailors transitioning from any of the Academy’s Holiday Camps and provides a number of opportunities to compete at a local to state level.
Laser Program (One person dinghy)
Squadron Laser Program
The Laser program is open to sailors of all ages, both to those interested in a high-performance pathway and those interested in sailing socially. Our program provides training and racing opportunities for all three Laser divisions, with a focus on the 4.7 and Radial for youth sailors.
