Play Bridge at the Squadron
What a beautiful place to play Bridge! There is great enthusiasm for playing cards at the Squadron, among both Gentlemen and Lady Members and their invited guests.
We offer the following opportunities:
Monday afternoon is casual Mixed Bridge for everyone, so bring a partner and join in the fun. We meet in the Carabella Room and play from 1 – 4pm. We offer Supervised Bridge on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th Mondays of the month. Rubber is played on the 1st Monday of each month.
Evening Bridge and Dinner is held on the second Wednesday of the month and is well supported but we are always happy to welcome new faces.
Thursday is our main Bridge session, commencing 10.30am.
Inter Club Bridge is played throughout the year and we enjoy participating in the various competitions. Win or lose, the teams enjoy the opportunity to visit other clubs and reciprocate at our own beautiful Squadron.

Notes on Card Dates:
- Third Thursday – Rubber Bridge. Price $42.00 includes sandwich luncheon.
- First, Second, & Fourth Thursdays – Duplicate Bridge. Price $42.00 includes sandwich luncheon.
- Fifth Thursdays – Teams Bridge. Price $42.00 includes sandwich luncheon.
- Social Mixed Bridge is played on Monday afternoons in the Shell Cove Room. Bookings should be made by Friday of the preceding week and where possible in pairs to facilitate play. All welcome. First & Fifth Mondays – Rubber, Price $12.00. Second, Third & Fourth Mondays – Duplicate, Price $22.00.
- Members wishing to make permanent bookings for 2023 are requested to complete the special form for this purpose, available from the reception desk or online via the Bridge page.
*Thursday Players please note: special lunch orders, including salads will incur a +$5 charge.
