Hardy Shield Trophy donated by Event Patron, Sir James Hardy OBE.

In preparation for the 2024 Hardy Cup, this weekend, we will be welcoming sailors to compete in the 2023 Hardy Shield Match Racing Regatta from 14 - 15 October, 2023. 

We will be celebrating the prestige of the Hardy Shield and the generosity of Event Patron, Sir James Hardy OBE: America’s Cup Veteran, World Champion, and Olympic Yachtsman who has left behind a legacy that will endure for many years to come.

The Hardy Shield was donated to the club by Sir James with the aim of increasing racing opportunities for sailors of all age groups. We invite Members who wish to celebrate Sir James’ vision to come down and watch the racing in the CCA.

The Annual Hardy Cup is scheduled from 4 to 8 February 2024 next year.
