Celebrating our Long-standing Members

Commodore Brooke addresses Members at the 25 Plus Year Celebratory luncheon.

Today, the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron recognised our Members who have been with us for 25 years or more.

Our audience of over 130 people gathered for a celebratory luncheon in their honour in the Carabella Room.

Commodore Christian Brooke addressed the room, saying, “Today, we gather to celebrate your extraordinary milestone. With immense pride, we honour your enduring commitment, support and dedication to our Club. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to every one of you for being here today. You are the guardians of our traditions, the keepers of our stories and the mentors for the next generation of sailors.”

A number of distinguished people were also recognised as Members who had been with us for 50 years or more.

Two Members, Mr Bruce Gould and Mr Osmand Pitts AM RD, attended and received honorary pins from the Commodore for their long-standing dedication.

Congratulations Members. See some more photos below.
