The Air Calin Match Cup has officially come to an end.

We were represented by two teams headed by Zac West and Xavier McLachlan.



Zac West and his team finished in 4th place after a tough battle in the petite finals with 4 x Women’s World Champion Pauline Courtois.

Zac West commented, ‘In the second round robin we went undefeated. The petite finals against Courtois had a few photo finish moments, but ultimately Courtois’s years of experience and skill triumphed on the day. We learnt a lot racing against them.’



West and his team are preparing for the J/70 UK Nationals and the Sailing Champions League World Final.

Xavier and his team showcased skill in a tough battle against RPAYC's Olivia Williams, ultimately coming out on top in the sailoffs.



Xavier will lead a representative team in the Australian Open Match Racing Championship on the 2-3 September, hosted by the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania.
