Incident ReportingIf a boating accident occurs in any port or navigable water in NSW, the master of the vessel must:
- stop the vessel immediately
- give assistance if required
- submit an incident report if there is more than $5000 damage to a vessel

Request for Redress and Protest
The time limit for the lodging of protests will be 1000 hours on the first working day after the event.
Protests will be heard at the clubhouse of the conducting club on the following Tuesday unless otherwise decided by the relevant race committee. The hearing time will be advised to the parties involved.
