The Tuesday twilight fleet was in the silly season spirit for the last sail before Christmas with sailors and boats dressing up for the occasion.
In a dying north easter, Anna Connery and the crew on Enigma took the win in the the Ladies non spinnaker division. Second across the line was Eve Sheppard and the team on Trilogy, and third was Genevieve Slattery and the all girl crew on Genovefa.
In the Yngling / Elliot spinnaker division Elyse Guerara-Rattray on Mojo won on corrected time, Sophie Shannon on Elliot 2 was second, and Alana Bracken on Miss Pibb was third.

In the open division Trish and Roman Tarnawsky on Can Can finished ahead of Paul Ley on Pilgrim, and Graeme Lambert on Impetuous Too.
Across all fleets closest to the start time for the second time this season was Sandy Lawson on Rapunzel.
Back at the Careening Cove Anchorage the fleet were welcomed with pearl-meat canapés and a glass of Bannamagoo sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay to enjoy while browsing a selection of exquisite Paspaley pearl jewellery.
Paspaley is supporting the Ladies Tuesday night twilight racing providing eight pairs of pearl earrings for the series. One pair of earrings will be awarded for;
1st overall Ladies Non-spinnaker division
2nd overall Ladies Non-spinnaker division
3rd overall Ladies Non-spinnaker division
1st overall Ladies Spinnaker division (Elliott/Yngling)
Four sets of pearl earrings will go into a lucky draw prize for those boats that have competed in 75% of the Ladies Tuesday Twilight races. These four sets are for the skipper and crew of one boat.
The winning crews in both the Ladies Non-spinnaker and spinnaker divisions will also be invited to a Pearl Room tour. Guests will travel in a heritage elevator to the basement level where, within the refurbished bank vaults of the Paspaley building (Martin Place), is the Pearl Room.
In this room, the Paspaley company’s sorting and grading operations are housed. It also features some of the most important and iconic pearls ever found, including the legendary Paspaley Pearl. Harvested in 2003 from a Paspaley pearl farm on the Kimberley coast, it is possibly the finest natural or cultured South Sea pearl ever found. The Pearl Room also is home to the “Unique Collection”, a selection of particularly special Australian South Sea pearls chosen for their exceptional shape, colour and lustre and the “Kuri Bay Collection”, a collection of Australian South Sea pearls from the first harvests at Australia’s oldest pearl farm, Kuri Bay.
Weekly Tuesday Twilight prize winners receive a bottle of wine from the Paspaley family boutique winery Bunnamagoo Estate wines.
Best dressed award off the water was definitely taken out by the crew on Allegro with their own ‘pearl’ collection.
Race 7 for the Paspaley Tuesday Twilight series will be February 2.
