Elliott 7s

Designed by the world-renowned Greg Elliott, the Elliott 7s is a one-design performance keelboat, specifically designed for youth development squads, keelboat training courses and club racing. These boats are extremely versatile and have been set up to for both symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers.

RSYS owns four Elliott 7s and they are available to our members for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday twilight racing, Saturday club championship and mini regattas, and for private hire during the week.

Hire an Elliott 7s

To hire an RSYS Elliott 7s  members must have completed an Induction session for that season. If you have not completed an induction for the current season please contact a member of the RSYS Sailing Office (E: sailing@rsys.com.au Ph: +61 2 9017 0152).

Stand-up Paddleboards

TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE – Due to COVID-19 safety and hygiene precautions.

Have you ever watched those people gliding across ponds, lakes, rivers and ocean bays on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and wondered if you should try it…

Now RSYS Members can give it a go.

As a result of an Intermediates Committee initiative, the General Committee lent its support to the purchase of four SUPs (2 x 10′ and 2 x 11′) for use by Members and their guests.

With its roots in the Hawaii surf culture, stand-up paddleboarding has morphed into an all-purpose water sport. Perfectly suited for Sydney Harbour, our boards will let Members and their guests explore and view the spectacular harbour from a new perspective.

Please note that if a day is partially reserved there still may be boards available at different times.
Please check the hourly times below for what is available.

SUPS:

•    Are available between sunrise and sunset
•    Can be booked online in half hour increments up to max three hours
•    Launched from the Youth pontoon or inner Pond (please refer to usage policy)
•    SUP and paddle to be washed in fresh water and placed back in the allocated rack after use
•    ALL Members and guests must wear a life jacket (PFD) and stay within the designated areas (please refer to usage policy).

Bookings are via the Rev Sport site.
