About the RSYS Zoom Room Series

Your Club is pulling together many of the speakers already lined up for this year’s talks. These planned “physical” events (and some new ones),  normally held over lunch or dinner at the club,  will now be turned into virtual talks - streamed live.

We will use the Zoom program to “broadcast” these talks, as many of our Members are now familiar with this platform for large virtual meetings, called “webinars”.

There will be a very short learning curve to use Zoom. Members and guests will only need to click on a link to get set up. These links will be sent to you by email. But you must pre-register before each event.

You do not need to download any new apps or programs.

Some events will be held at lunchtime, (say 12:30 pm) others at dinner time (say 8.00 pm). All will be “live” but they will also be recorded for later viewing and indeed end up in the Club’s Archives.

Each should run for about an hour. There will usually be a short Q & A session after the talk finishers. We intend to hold talks at lunchtime, at 6 pm, and 8 pm.

Members and their guests will be able to join our Club’s Zoom Room speaker events. Everyone must register before each event, however. Members can do this by responding to our Club Member marketing and communications email links and through other Club communication channels. Your guests must also register individually by using the link for the event.
