Australia Day Regatta
The 188th Australia Day Regatta, the oldest continuously run annual sailing event in the world, will be conducted again on Australia Day, Friday 26 January 2024.
On behalf of the Australia Day Regatta Management Committee, the organising authority for the Harbour race is the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron (RSYS) and for the Ocean race to Botany Bay, the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
The RSYS Milson Memorial Cup will be awarded to the RSYS boat with the lowest correct time across Divisions 1 & 2 in the Ocean Race.
There are also activities for non-racing boats to celebrate the day.
