It was a perfect evening of beautiful sunshine, gentle breeze and lots of lovely boats and crew decked out in every possible shade of pink to celebrate our “sail for breast cancer” event.
Our wonderful sponsor Henri Lloyd put on a great Fashion Parade, which of course couldn't happen without the very talented models....Rosemary, Tim, Debbie, Sandy, Rick, William, Sally and Emily Jane, thankyou so much.
Of course equally important were the trophy winners:
1st Lucy Proud on Swish
2nd Braveheart
3rd Zeus
Line timing went to Barracuda
Best Dressed Boat and Crew were Senta skippered by Julie Clark.
Lots of wonderful goodies in the Silent Auctions and a very special thank you to all very generous sponsors and especially our Olympians Karyn, Angela and Krystal.
We managed to raise $2,622.70 towards finding a cure for breast cancer. Well done everyone.
The evening set the scene for a wonderful series and this year with 22 boats registered we have a great fleet out there on a Tuesday.
Look forward to seeing you all on the water.
